DSP Spotlight – Creshawna Nunnelly

We’re celebrating DSP Week by spotlighting some of our compassionate and hard-working Direct Support Professionals and Career Specialists. They’re the heart of our industry. Because of their dedication, we’re able to help hundreds of individuals with disabilities live fulfilling lives in central Missouri.

Creshawna NunnellyToday we talked with Creshawna Nunnelly, a Direct Support Professional in our In-Home Services program.

How long have you worked for ACT?

Four years.

What brought you to this line of work?

I have a sister with developmental disabilities.

Why do you like working with ACT?

The amount of diversity in the individuals.

If you had a superhero name what would it be?

Super Charge.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and why?

Cloning powers so I could make myself be in several places at once.

Thank you, Creshawna. Here’s what your supervisor, Tara Shade, had to say about you:

Creshawna is fun, goes with the flow, and is always able to keep a level head, even during a crisis. Creshawna is always willing to take on a new challenge or experience. The thing I appreciate the most about Creshawna is that she has high expectations for everybody she supports. She is very good at supporting people in learning how to become more self-sufficient by believing in themselves more.

Happy DSP Week!
